oh man i am so nostalgic!

sitting here in my mum's flat watching silly tv shows such as fresh prince in bel air, it's strange to thingk about everyone being back in india. how are our firstyears doing? and zeroyears? how is the smoking ban affecting campus? so many things to think about. and the other day i got my camera back from my sister so i could finally load pictures from the last month in india onto my computer (which is working again, so all you people who wanted pictures, just let me know and i'll send you cd's). well point is really that those pictures made me really nostalgic and sad. and then i noticed there was a pile of letters next to me on the table here, and one of them was from shane. and so i got more nostalgic, especially because of the nice roy lichtensteinish fake stamp she had put on the envelope, even though the letter was unfortunately for my mum. lucky mummy. and then i found eir's blog, which has such a long name i can't even write it here in fear of misleading you guys, and reading her posts about first meetings with india just made me, if possible, even more nostalgic!

so in order to think about something else, i should write a bit more about my lovely little nephew that i've fallen in love with. my mum said when he was born that she was really surprised that i was so excited about the baby. i wonder why she said that. do i seem like a baby hater? or just like a generally uninterested person? he's the baby in the picture, and his name is frithjof.

other than that, a general update on my whereabouts and plans:
i'm going to london tomorrow and i am quite excited that i get to see nico (teddy, the dog in the picture is not at home) and maybe possibly mark (and bethan?) and eventually dario. and then i am super excited to start school, four months of summer holidays has made me a bit restless. a bit? that's a lie.

now i'm listening to nice music in the headphones that aren't really mine. thank you nico for being my private bank! hihi.
